  1. Looking at buying my first set of Titleist irons and have a question on shafts. I am getting the 714 CB/MB combo and have been told the Kbs Tour shafts do not work well with these irons due to the head weight. These heads were either to heavy or to light, I don't really remember. Can anyone clear this up for me? Club head speed for me with a driver is around 105-109. I have played png shafts the last 5 years in stiff flex.

The weight of the head shouldn't be an issue at all. If there needs to be more weight in the head just increase the swing weight, if its too light decrease it. The standard swing weight for stock dynamic gold s300 is D2 just to give you an idea. Personally Iv never heard of a certain shaft not fitting a certain head, if you like the kbs tour then go for it.

The KBS shafts work fine in CB/MB and in fact, all our Titleist iron heads.  Due to the balance of the shafts, the KBS shafts will build to a lighter swingweight.  If you would like them built at a D2 swingweight, instead of the default lighter swingweight with those shafts, please have your pro shop specify that on their order.
