Team Titleist Members; Would like any input you may have concerning getting fit for a new 915D2 driver. I know a authorized fitting is the best way to go, but the fitters at my local city courses have one fitter that I don't really trust that he knows what he doing, and the other fitter (as I've heard from other players) seems to want to only put his clients in Ing products, so I don't want to spend my money for a fitting like that. Maybe if Cathi, Will, or Bubba might weigh in and give me their opinion on some fitters in the Springfield Mo. area. Also, do you have any info about Demo Days in my area? That would be a good place to get fit, if we have one.
I've had several folks tell me to go to our local club repair shop for a fitting. I went there and talked to the owner, and he told me he would put me on Track Man with my present driver, and sent the numbers to Titleist, and they would recommend the head and shaft that I need. Does this sound like a good idea. I'm not that great of a player but I do want the best set up I can get. Any thoughts would be appreciated. Thanks in advance;
