Are the Mitsubishi Diamana shafts in the new 915 shaft the real deal?

In the past, they were "exclusively for Titleist" - that I do not believe were built by Mitsubishi.

Can you shed a little light on the shafts? Are they built by Mitsubishi? Given the retail of the shafts alone used to be $300+, I'm just skeptical.

For our 910 drivers, our engineers co-created (with Mitsubishi engineers) shafts that worked well in our testing with players - those were called proprietary shafts.  In the 913's, all the Mitsubishi Plus shafts were non proiprietary or "aftermarket" shafts that could be purchased through any Mitsubishi dealer.

This year, all the shafts for our 915's are premium "aftermarket" shafts that are the same that can be purchased through any authorized Mitsubishi, Aldila, Fujikura or GDI shaft vendor.

I can attest to what Cathi is saying, I have got fit and have the new 915s in the bag and I went with the Diammana shafts in my 3 wood and hybrid. They are indeed the "real deal".

I went with the Aldila Black Rogue Stiff on my new 915D2 and 915H2 and love them.....all my 913s are Diammana Shafts.....913F 15*, 913H 17*, 193H 24*...all with adjustments, of course....none of my clubs are standard after fittings. I love the the mix.....
