I'm having a tough time deciding which shaft to invest in......Both feel great...I miss putts short and the Duel Balance seems to help me get the ball to the hole (however sometimes too far past the hole). This is a big investment for me....has anyone had this decision to make ?

Marvin, it's a tough decision but ultimately you have to go with your instincts and what you feel will serve you.  All that aside, never let money come into your decision.  If paying more gives you more, it's worth it and you're worth it.  I have both dual balance Cameron putters and regular grip putters.  I go back and forth.  The new line of Cameron grips are the best out there.  Get what you want and enjoy!  Vern

When I was out at the Scotty Cameron Fitting Studio last fall we discussed that exact thought.  The Dual Balance is designed for someone that needs help smoothing out their stroke and taking more of the wrist movement out of the swing.  If this is your tendancy on misses than dual balance technology is to your advantage, otherwise whichever works better for you I would recommend.  I have both at the moment and think they both roll the ball very well!

i suffered from the same issue, and i was certain i wanted to x5r but was also torn between deciding regular and dual balance.  Unfortunately because i play a 34in putter the dual balance was out of the question but i loved the added weight to the dual balance.  My putting stroke felt much more fluid and stable.  After working with my local shop i ended up ordering an X5R "Heavy" model (the stock weights on the bottom of the putter are swapped out from 10g to 15g) which will allow me to have the heavier feel and more fluid/stable stroke that i am looking for and hopefully helping me get the ball to the whole.
