I recently bought fitted ap1's 4-pw xp r300 shaft last summer. I injured my left shoulder about 2 years ago. At the time I thought I was healed but I wasn't. I have been working with my physical therapist on strengthen my whole body. I would think my swing speed might change. I am going to be fitted for the new 915f and 915h this spring. I have been thinking about checking my iron swing again. I love the clubs, I was wonder if it was worth replacing the shaft on them. That's if my speed has changed. Anyways how much would it be? I would go through Titleist to have the work done. Thanks

    Hi,

    Thanks for the post.

It is always a good idea to check your equipment when you have the chance. With that said, there would be no need to change the shafts in your irons unless there is a noticeable change in launch conditions. If because of your increased speed you see higher spin or higher launch, it may be worth considering a change. However, more than likely you will find that your current setup works well.

    Hope this helps.

thanks, I also I have another question. Is it normal to have the driver, woods, and hybrids different flex's? my driver is a stiff and my 3 wood is a stiff too

It really all depends on the player. I fit many people into a shaft that was tighter in the driver and softer in the fairway or hybrid. The key thing is to treat each club like a different fitting. While filling gaps is imperative, when it comes to shaft, find the specific one that works for that club.

    Thanks.
