Just got home from my Titleist fitting at Miles of Golf - Cincinnatti.  I went with 2 other guys in my normal group.  We all went with Titleist being a front runner, but with open minds for getting what is best in visual and by the number.  I was the only one who ended up with Titleist irons, as I was fit for AP1's with KBS Tour shafts, 9 irons, 4-P, W1, W2.  2* upright and had 4-P 1* strong, I left both the W's standard loft.

One buddy ended up with TM RSI 3* flat as he did hit it better than the Titleist,  He was dead set on Titleist up until he hit the TM.  He tried everything to get the Titleist to his complete liking, flight, distance, and feel.  Gotta buy what you feel is best, and he really wanted to like the Titleist more.

Second buddy, was torn between Titleist and miz and chose miz, as again, the numbers and feel, flight just fit him better.  He did though, hit the Titleist D3 better than any driver he hit, and he ordered it.

It was a long day with 3 of us getting fit today, but so worth it.  I love my Titleist and ready for new ones.

Derek the fitter was awesome, answered all our questions and gave more information that we could possible maintain.  Anyone in the Cincy area or within a few hours, should consider going to Miles of Golf,  Now the agonizing wait for them to come in and the weather to cooperate so we can enjoy the new clubs.

Thanks Titleist, Miles of Golf, and Derek the fitter.  All are awesome.

My cousin also went to Miles of Golf in Cincy the weekend prior.  He was fit for Driver, 5W, 2 hybrids, AP1's 5-W, and 56* all being Titleist.  He had bit mine some last summer and really liked them.  So he pretty much got a clean slate of all Titleist clubs. The whole group is ready for some golf and it looks like the weather is starting to cooperate with that idea. Only thing I have left to do is get my custom Titleist ProV1x's ordered soon and I will be set for the season.

Well, I called to check on the arrival of my irons, only to be discouraged that they are apparently on back order and not likely to ship for at least another week.  Is a bit disappointing to be given a conservative 10-14 days only to have it end up close to 4 weeks before I get them.  While I fully understand that things happen, it seems that having shaft options should also have availability within a time frame given.  Now, I'm just hoping to get them just before opening weekend of club tournaments.  Two more weeks of playing with sons clubs, :(

Once you get them , you will realize that it was so worth the wait

I believe that to be the case, just wish I was informed sooner rather than later.  Where I had them fitted and ordered from apparently didn't have that information either.  I did shoot 72 on Saturday with my sons TM R7's, might be hard to give them back if I play a lot more with them.

Great round. Play those during the tournament. There is always a break in period on a new set of clubs. Emphasis on the Titleist irons are worth the wait.

Update, still unhappy, still no clubs, supposedly going to be shipped 4-6-15, trying to be understandable about apparently no one knows what going on with them.  It's not working though.

Was able to pick up my clubs this morning, going to try and get 9 holes in tonite while youngest son is at golf practice.  Thank you Titleist for shipping them over night.  Ready to play with them, just put my oldest sons clubs back into his bag.

Well, Tyson, how were they?  New clubs, break in period.

The weekend went OK with them, got 3 rounds in, each day was a bit better.  With the 2* upright, it was different, I hit alot of horrible shots, but, I adjusted ball position and it got turned around and started to hit them better.  Was the worst 2 rounds of hitting the driver on Sat an Sun so I wasn't in good position much of the day.  I'm sure as time goes I will hit them better an better, opening day 2 man flighted scramble was pushed back till this coming Saturday, so I hope the weather is good enough to get some more practice in.

Once a person gets properly fitted for a set of clubs it is a big adjustment period, because you now are addressing the ball properly.  Things will work out and you will be a happy golfer.  We all go through it, so just practice, practice, practice and the scores will follow.  Congratulations on your new clubs.
