After spending the past 6 months with the new cally Bertha Double Black Diamond, I was fitted and test drove the 915 D2 during a round at Valencia CC in SoCal, and hit 70% of the fairways that day when I swung the driver.  Pulled the trigger today by purchasing the D2 with the stock Rogue 60g shaft in stiff.  Looking forward to a round tomorrow at Big Canyon CC in Newport Beach, followed by Brookside #1 on Friday, a couple of planned practice times next week and Tourney on the 16th at River Ridge in Oxnard.  Looking forward to finding the short grass.  The Double Black Diamond was super long when I hit it on the screws, but missing lost distance and the high draw was an issue with the neutral setup.

Looking forward to some confidence building tee shots!

Based on my experience, the more you play with that new D2 the more that accuracy will increase.  It is so much easier to score from the short grass.   Love my D2, have made one minor adjustment on mine since the fitting and opened the faced .05* and the accuracy improved more.  Am 68 and hitting it around the 250 mark which is fine with me.  Threw a 71 at my buddies yesterday with one eagle and three birdies.  Those four boogies did not help.  Keeping the drive in the middle helped.  Missed two fairways all day and that was because I tried to jump on those.  It was definitely the indian not the arrow.  I hope you enjoy yours as much as I do.  Titleist rocks........   cz

I am also looking to purchase the 915 D2...was the amount of fairways you hit a drastic change from when you were swinging the Bertha Double Black Diamond and was the D2 more forgiving in your opinion?

When I am swinging the D2 I feel as if I don't have to work as hard.  I always felt like I really had to go after the Double Black Diamond to get a good result.  Not having to go after it really keeps things alot more loose for me on the tee.  Hit some good drives today and I was able to dial in a fade twice when I wanted too.  Confidence inspiring club.
