With the iron cycle, some of the irons are currently being tested by the pros now, but most of the roll out of testing will come in the summer. Titleist is really good about keeping their cycle the same, so the 716 MBs are being tested by Jimmy Walker and Web Simpson (maybe even more). The other 716 irons will roll out soon for them to test. 

Most likely, the irons will hit store shelves in November. 

Are you looking to replace your current set with a new set of Titleist and were wondering if you should wait to purchase the 716s over the 714s? (A lot of people on the site are wondering that same question).

Hi Sam, Yes  I currently have 712? AP2's  If there is going to be a new range of 716 AP2's then will definitely buy them. I'm a bit of a style freak when it comes to irons and will get fitted again when the Titleist rep is around in November so if you have any information pictures etc. of proto type would be really interested.

I was going to wait until November to order a new set of irons, but I ultimately decided to go ahead and get some 714 AP2s. It's a matter of what sort of gains you'll make now and if it is worth waiting. For me, the benefit was starting my season with a new set of irons and building my game around them.
