AP2 716 Rumors

    Just wanted to know if anyone has heard any rumors or time frames on the 716 AP2's. I know they usually come out in November but I was seeing if anyone has heard any rumblings on any of the differences or similarities. I really like the 714's but I might wait to buy the 716's.

    Last month I was just fitted for 714 AP's by a Titleist fitter (as opposed to a store or pro shop fitter) and asked f I should wait for the 716 AP2's. He said the 716 AP2's would be available to the general public around November 2015. He had not seen the 716 AP2's or heard much about them. He suggested changes would be minor (but how would he really know for sure??). As for the 714 AP2's, he had me so well dialed in that I agreed to purchase them and am VERY happy.

    I have had the last three versions of AP2's and thus I am keeping my eyes out for updated info around the industry but still have heard nothing about the 716's.  We have all seen the new MB's so whatever Titleist has in store for us with the AP's I think we will love it ! Cant wait!!

    Titleist has done a good job of keeping this one under the lid, so they must be coming in with something HOT.  Not even the sales reps have heard anything.

    a few weeks back, there was speculation that there would be an iron between the AP1 and AP2 calling it the AP1.4 there hasn't been anything since, especially not a denial. Steve

    Doubt they will be much difference, maybe a "speed slot" could be on the cards in line with what others are doing but i believe their irons will take a more traditional look that they have always produced.
