Hi all, I was given a 915F 3 wood with the stock Diamana M+ 60g shaft from family they switched to 915Fd. I plan to install shaft of my choice 83g shaft much heavier than 60g. My question is if Titleist use lighter head for lighter shaft options to achieve "standard" swingweight for all head-shaft setups or do they use same head and swingweight is different for each combo?

Head weights will increase as the club length get's shorter.

All the heads are the same weight. Just because one comes with a 60g and others with 80+ gram doesnt change the weight of the head

  4. Are different weights available for 915 D  &  915 F ?   I would like to experiment with different weights.  I did this with my Scotty Cameron putters until I found the perfect feel.

  6. Please send me information on purchasing a 915 weight kit.  I have seen 3 different sellers on ebay, all from China.

Scott:  You should be able to get this from Titleist, through a local golf shop or pro shop.  The SKU# is 915WEIGHTKIT.  Additionally, if do not want the whole kit you can order individuaul weights.  All you need to install these weights is your Titleist wrench.

At the top of this page under the tab golf clubs, click on that and then go to fairways (these weights work on driver, fairways, and hybrids, so it really doesn't matter), the go to the bottom of the page to custom options and click on review.  Titleist accessories are listed on page 33.  It will show the entire kit for 915s and individual weights for 915s and 913s.

    Good luck.  Chuck.

If I understand swingweight correctly, for every 9 grams one swing weight point is added, therefore an 80 gram shaft as opposed to a 60 gram would add a little over 2 points or D2 to D4. Therefore by changing the bezel weight from 9 to five should bring it back to D2

All heads weigh the same and unless noted on a custom build order, all clubs are built to be the "standard" swing weight (although there is always a little +/-).  Titleist achieves this by using different weight screws in the head.  There is a weight kit for the 915s which contains the following weights: 4 (white), 7 (green), 9 (red), 11 (blue), and 14 (black).  So if you switch to a heavier or lighter shaft, you can use a different weight from the kit (which is purchased from Titleist) to adjust the swing weight to your desired swing weight or feel.
