    I've got the Titleist Pom Pom headcovers for my fairway woods and driver, i was just wondering if they can be machine or hand washed ? I'm not sure if they are 100% wool or not so obviously held back until i got an answer.  If they can be washed what sort of temps are safe ?

    I have those pom pom headcovers as well. I use my set as a decoration in my apartment, but they could still get dusty after awhile. This may sound a bit much, but you could always take them to a dry cleaner.

    They are made of 50% Wool and 50% Acrylic.  Treat it like a similar wool sweater.  Maybe use Woolite and hand wash them and block dry them on a towel.  Just a thought.

  4. They are similar to headcovers being wool so you could hand wash delicately using Laundress wool detergent or just love the covers the way they are with experience on them!

    Thanks for the replies

    I'll try them with Woolite delicate by hand and leave them to dry naturally and see how it goes.

    Hi Rob;

    While I am not certain of the exact construction of the head covers (I have one too), I'm pretty certain that it is not wool, but rather acrylic, polyester, or some blend with perhaps a little wool.

    Regardless, with cleaning, like all things of a similar material and construction, I wash it in lukewarm water by hand, using something like Woolite or Zero. Let it soak for a good hour or so, rinse by hand with cool or cold water and lay flat to dry.

    This process will keep it from shrinking as it is the heat from both the washing and the dryer that causes wool to shrink. Further, this method will help keep the head covers from "tearing" at the seams, etc.

    Hope this helps!
