Does any one have any feed back on ap1 716 irons? I just purchased mine and can't wait to get them!

    Greenwood,

    Matthew,

The clubs are awesome! I have had mines for a week now. Its been an interesting year to say they least with clubs for me. Started off with miz:

    • MP54's ~ lovely irons, but probably a bit more than I could handle. Was a club shorter and a lot less consistent (more than usual). Traded those in by July for miz MP850 forged...
    • MP850 ~ Liked those a lot, but did not love them. Got my distance back, but they still were a little tough for me to handle consistently. Traded those in, October
    • AP1 716 ~ By this time I have learned and accepted that I am not good enough to hit a compact head forged iron, even though I love that look. Moreover, they guys that I am playing with (shooting in the low 80's) all have some time of game improvement irons. I figured, no need in killing myself. Let me get some of that relief as well, (hundreds of dollars later) I am here with everything in my bag matching (as an added bonus)  well as soon as I update my wedges.

I hit the purest 5 iron that I have hit all year, thought it would hit the sun 195 yrs. Sweet irons man, you won't regret! Now I just hate its November in Indiana.... Good luck to you....

    Greenwood,

I wrote a longer reply to your question. Not sure where it went after posting it, but you will love the irons. Great distance, easy to hit and looks very nice in the bag.

I am coming from miz MP54's, then 850 forged. Wish I could have saved the money and started out with these. Love the look and feel of a forged club, when you strike it well that is... Hey, at least I know what I can hit now.. Good luck and hit em straight...
