I currently play 710 CB 5-pw with the KBS Tour 120g Stiff. I'm looking at two different shafts and looking to go lighter and possibly with a higher launch. I hit my 7 iron 160 yards. 1.) The KBS Tour-V 110g is a little lower spin than KBS Tour but felt great and didn't notice a different launch. 2.) Steel Fiber 95 has a higher launch and feels great to. With the 716 CB 7 iron what would be considered too much spin and too little spin that would affect distance?

    Thanks.

The traditional rule is 1000*(iron number) = spin rate in RPM +/- 10%, I am all about high launch low spin, so I prefer to be on the lower side of that.  So for 7 iron, 1000*7= 7000 >> 7000- 10% 6300 RPM.

I played the Steelfiber i110cw stiff in a set before, great performing shafts. I never really cared for the firmer feel of the Tour V.
