    Hi,

I'm senior and considering buying a 915D2 but I'm not sure which one to buy. ( and I know everyone says to get fitted).

My question is: "Would there be a difference in the performance of a 915D2 12* compared to a 915D2 10.5 set at 12*?"

I'm thinking I'd be using a Senior shaft on this.

    Thanks,

    Marc L.

The face angle would be different. Try both and see what works best for you.

Every paralell line on the sure fit matrix is a different face angle. As you go up the face closes, down is the reverse.

In other words, a 12 on A1 the face would be more open  than a 10.5 on A4 for a right handed player . It can make a big difference.

    i hit a 15 degree 915f set at D4 (15.75 degree)  much better off the deck than a 16.5 set at A1

Second thing to consider is you age. Our swing speeds tend to go down with increasing age , so the 12 would allow increasing loft over time.

    Hope this helps.
