  1. Hello,

i was just wondering what would be the best iron for me. I am currently hitting the original swoosh victory red forged split cavity irons with stiff shafts. I am an 8 handicap but strike my irons very well (driving and putting is lacking). I have a very high ball flight with all my clubs. My swing speed is was 127mph last time i checked (that is on my driver). Fairly steep swing. I also hit my 8 iron around 160... don't know if any of this information helps but...

Was curious on your input on which titles irons to look at? or other brands? That includes shaft selection as well, i was thinking ap2 or the CBs.

    Thank you.

Obviously it's best to go hit them and get fit by your local pro but based on what you have described the AP2 and CB are both great options. The AP2 is used by a wide range of players all of which race about the feel and performance, the CB is often forgotten but also is an exceptional performer.

As DC says, definitely go for a fitting but my guess would be AP2 would be a good fit. Shaft choice will be a big factor also which is why a fitting will be the way to go.
