Hi, I have been fit improperly over the years and want to be sure I choose the proper iron fitting. Can you assist me with this?

    Thank you!

Go see a certified PGA fitter. Not a big box store but at a golf club or in my case a golf training center that was rated by Golf Digest magazine as one of the three best fitters in my state. Some of the best fitters are PGA pros that work at private clubs. You do not need to be a member in most cases to make an appointment and get fitted. The cost is minimal compared to the time and money you will spend playing well titted clubs.
  3. Find a Titleist Thursday event which can be found here on the site under clubs or go to your local PGA Professional

Tony, go to a certified Titleist Fitting Professional and be thorough with them. Explain what your goals are, what you are looking for in a set of irons, etc. And try the various clubs with different shaft options etc.

I also prefer fitters that have access to equipment like the Trackman to provide additional data and feedback to support the fitting process.
  5. A professional fitting is second to none. I just returned from Acushnet, Ma. and the experience was awesome. You have to choose what you want out of the fitting, for me, the more tools at my disposal, the better the fit.
  6. My fitting is next Thursday. Hope to have them soon!!

You play golf outdoors on grass. You want to get fit in circumstances like what you play. Launch angles off of mats are not even close to how you interact with turf. Like everyone suggests - find a well-rated site with the best equipment.
