  1. Looking for an opinion. Recently at demo days at my club, I was testing golf clubs and the feel of the T -MB's caught my attention. I am considering ordering these irons. My question about these clubs is are they considered "game improvement" my experience with these types of clubs is that the thickness of the face of the club varies which results in it being tough to get accuracy on my distances. As well as some issues with workability.

I am a 2.3 Handicap and am looking at replacing a older set of CB's.

If someone could share some insight or experience with these clubs it would be much appreciated. Thanks.

Jeff, I stay between 0-3 handicap. I have the TM-B 2-5 iron and I can say with out a doubt they are awesome !!!! Me personally I dislike hybrids and during my fitting was talked into 2 hybrids and just ordered the 4-5 TMB after only a month I sold the hybrids and ordered the 2-3 TMB. I think the distance is spot on. I wouldn't say they are a game improvement I would say they are more of a mix between AP2 and CB.

I've played with AP1s (712), AP2(714 & 716) and was recently fitted with the complete 716 T-MBs at TPI in Oceanside. They are amazing! Best irons I've ever hit. You can't go wrong, Jeff. Enjoy!

Just my two cents, I have played every iron Titleist makes, I now have a set of the AP2's and MB's, I tried a full set of the T-MB and actually felt like I could never get an exact distance set, they were pretty easy to hit but I could never tell on the club face where I was really hitting the ball. I know some people love them but I just didn't fall in love with them.
My MB set is 3-P when I'm really wanting to play a blade and my AP2 set is 5-9 with 816h1 23 and 25 hybrids which actually I'm learning to love the longer I have them... high ball flight and lands on a dime... well maybe a quarter. I go through more Titleist clubs than anyone I know ( and scotty cameron putters ) so I just wanted to give my little opinion. I appreciate hearing from as many people as I can.
    Good luck

    Hi Jeff'

I have 3-PW in the T-MBs, I'm currently off 3.7 and I love them, they're the best clubs I've used.
I used to have the 716 4-7 AP2 8-PW MB before these and I personally think they're easy to hit and my distances are consistent.
Why not go to a demo day and try them or go to a titleist fitter to see your numbers.

I just received my new T-MB's yesterday (5-PW) and went directly to the range. I cannot believe how easy they were to hit and just the 7i alone added 10+ yards over my old AP1's. I absolutely love them after 1 bucket of range balls. Can't wait to get my first round on them this weekend. Workability was excellent for me. Good luck! CG.
