can anyone confirm if it's possible to flatten the lie of 716 AP1 irons and Vokey SM6 wedges by 2% and / or reduce shaft length by .5 inch? I bought off the shelf standard clubs last summer because I had just started playing, and thought I was hitting too inconsistent for a fitting. I was told where I bought them the lie could be changed once with no problem, but now I'm hearing conflicting information. Thx

Typically with AP1's, they can't be changed unless you send them back to Titleist (it would void any warranty otherwise as well.) I wouldn't trust anyone else to bend them. I would definitely be fit for them first to make sure that's what you need done first.

The Titleist club repair department performs general club repairs such as reshafting, loft and lie adjustments and regripping. If you would like to have Titleist repair or modify your club, please visit your local Titleist dealer. They can discuss pricing and return the club to Titleist on your behalf. If you need assistance locating a shop in your area, please visit the Titleist Golf Shop Locator.

Some repairs performed by a third party may affect the integrity of the club and render it unserviceable by Titleist.
