  1. Thanks goes out to Team Titleist for selecting me to participate in the 718/818 early release event held at The River Club in Suwanee, Georgia. I also want to thank the Titleist Staff that was on site for an outstanding job they did hosting, presenting and supporting this event. My Titleist fitting rep were very knowledgable, he dialed in my iron selection and shaft type using Trackman. I currently play the MB series, but I was fitted for the AP3's - never thought I'd move away from the MB blades. But the AP3 is so consistent and feels like a forged club, plus the AP3 irons are crazy long - I was carrying the AP3 7 iron consistently 183-185 yards. It's 8-10 yards longer than my MB blades... AP3's are going in my bag - they fly high and land soft! I really enjoyed myself, what an awesome experience.

Congrats on your fitting. I went to the one in Columbus, Ohio, it was fantastic. Team Titleist really took care of us!

Ap3 are way longer as the lofts are really jacked

    Ap3 7 iron loft - 31 degrees
MB Iron Loft - 35 degrees

The 7 iron for the AP3 is like hitting a 6 iron with the MBs so be careful when comparing as they are not apples to apples. But if you're looking for forgiveness AP3 is the way to go.
  5. Good point regarding the loft +- differences - AP3's are very forgiving, higher launch and greater distance.

Thanks for the information. While I live in the Atlanta metro area, I'm going on vacation to Vegas at the end of September and signed up for a Titleist Thursday session at TPC Las Vegas. That's the part of the trip I'm looking forward to the most.
