I don't know a single blade player who wants offset, myself included, yet the MB has more offset than blades from competitors. Titleist is willing to have the smallest head and thinnest top line, which I think we all love, but why so much offset?

I checked out the 716 at Dicks, offset seemed ok, same as 718.

My 990b's have a little more and are ok, but I do only play the 5-p. I hit them with a wee little bit of a draw.

Many yrs ago I had a set of Maltby irons, .100 1-sw

Progressive offset is supposed to make something easier, I think its closing the face. With offset game improvement irons I hook really bad.

I'm with you, I don't want progressive offset.

I went off to dicksand searched several iron sets, all that I checked had more offset than Titleist MB's

Give me a hint, which ones have less offset?

Hi Q, The muscle back irons are designed with input from the players that play MB's on the PGA Tour and other tours around the world. Measurement of MB irons are typically measured in inches or mm. Our offset is now measured in mm and the PW is less than 2 mm or about 7/100th of an inch. It progresses up to the 3 iron which measures about 1/10 of an inch.
