Ive been hearing how pros have been hot melting there woods. What kind of advantage would someone get from this. Does it just make the face stiffer, letting the ball come of the face faster?

Hot melt is a term that they use for adding weight to the interior of the head. It is used to change swingweight.
So is melted lead poured into the swing weight hole?
Hot melt was used in previous generation heads before we had our interchangeable weights.

No, it's very similar to an epoxy that is liquid and will harden. It will dampen the sound slightly, and allows the club builder to put the weight where the play wants it, be the heel, or toe, or in the cavity in the back to bring the launch up.
They did this before they were able to add weight via the screws to the head, like they can now. They might still hot melt some heads though to give them a fade or draw bias, as the weight port will mainly be for swing weighting.

Does Titleist currently add hotmelt to their 910 drivers in addition to the weights? I have noticed theat titleist have put hot melt into there 910 Hybrids, I have found it in two out of two that I have customized.
We use a minimal amount of hot melt in all heads for sound.

Can we request more hot melt on a custom 915 driver?
Hi MIke, The 915 (as well as 913/910) metalwoods are interchangeable so we want the heads to be a uniform weight so that when a new shaft is put in, swingweights will stay within the expected range given the same grip, length and bezel weight. We won't add additional hotmelt to a head.
