I am looking for replacement irons for my 1987 Titlelist DTR's (1i - sw, no driver as it added strokes to my score). I have been out of the game for a few years but am getting back to it as my children are grown and they play now. At the time I stopped playing I was a 15 hcp with my short game mainly to blame. I have always hit the DTR's very high and fairly straight to a push right with a better than average length. I am looking to improve my game past the 15 hcp and want an iron that I can take to the next level. I looked at png irons and was fitted to a blue dot which is .75deg upright. Should I get the new Titlelist irons in a 1deg upright which should help stop the push right?
So, AP1 or AP2?
Hybrids?
3 wood?
P.S. I am working hard on the short game and am trying out a 910D3 driver.
