    Looking to put a 5 wood in the bag, I have a 910F 15* (210 yards) & 910H 17* (190 yards).  Should I take out the 17* 910H and replace it with a 910F 19* and maybe get a 910H 19* ?

    How much of a distance gap will there be with the 910F 19* & 910H 17* ?  I'm guessing the 910H is easier to hit out of the fairway, right?

    Thanks =)

    I would say alot of that depends on where and how you play.  Personally, I realized the 3 and 5 wood in my bag were a waste of space for my personal playing situations, most of the time.  So I put a 4 wood in the bag, but i found I had the same problem I did before...  While the 4 wood fit the bill, I had a huge between my FW wood and my longest iron. Never given it much thought up too that point because that was how a "traditional" set was made up when I started playing. The solution, for me, was a 17* hybrid. Funny thing about that is the 4 wood and the hybrid have the same loft, but it does fill the bill.  The best answer is to hit them both at an outdoor range.  I also think you should hit the clubs it is supposed to fit between in the same session so that you can see first hand, on the spot, which is the best gap filler. GOOD LUCK, and enjoy.

    808 -- this is the area I seem to spend most of my time during a fitting. Checking launch angles and carry distances with these clubs.  YOu will not get the correct answer here on line, but there is a clear and definite way to get the right answers.
      Titleist has a club fitting manual and any GOOD fitter will know how to use it. In the manual there are a series of charts titled " green stopping performance." These are based on ball speed and they tell you what your minimum launch should be based on your ball speed that will allow the ball to stop on the green.
      A good fitting situation will be where you are hitting from real grass, using Pro V golf balls and your shots being measured on a launch monitor.  DO NOT  attempt to do this hitting from a mat. Mats launch the ball much higher thereby giving your eroneous readings that will not work when you go to the course.  You will be able to see the correct launch and carry distances and make your decisions this way. Good luck
