  1. I recently bought the 913d2 with the Bassara 50 R flex. I have played it about a dozen times and hit it dead left 80%

of the time. I was fitted and my ss is 92 and I'm wondering if I shouldn't have been fitted with a S flex ?? I have hit a

baby cut all my life and I can't hit a cut with this club to save my life. Any help out there ???

  2. Mike,

Where were you fit at? Do you have your numbers available to share (ball speed, spin, launch angle, etc.)? Which Sure-Fit setting is your driver on?

Mike you're definitely going to need a regular flex shaft. You should get the equipment you're used to. "Feel" is everything in golf.

Im probably asking the obvious, but have you adjusted the settings? What is your club set at? Reset for more fade and see what happens...that is my first suggestion. Second it is possible the shaft is too flexible, but it depends on your tempo, and other factors than just swing speed. How is the ball flight? If it is too high (real high where it drops out of the sky) the shaft could be too light.  If it is too low (hard to get in the air) it is prob too stiff.

The first thing I would do is play with the adjustments and add more fade. Watch your ball flight. Is it penetrating? Too low or too high? If none of this dials you in, I would go back and try the Diamana Blue shaft. But play around with it and see what happens. As you know these clubs have so many adjustments it is a lot of fun to dial it in.

I am in no way an expert, but I love golf equipment and I am going on my experiences so if someone has a better idea I hope they chime in.

Good luck, let us know how it goes.

I just got fitted also and had similar numbers, 95 ss. I have the D3  8.5  r shaft and  have it set at A1. I hit it straight to a slight fade. Have you tried the D1setting,? ,that turns a 9.5 to an 8.75 with a slight draw. I used that setting on my 910 D3 9.5 and have similar numbers to the 913. If your shots are pulls you might have to get the feel of the lighter shaft. If you are hooking it then it might be  too weak. It took me a few rounds to get the feel of the lighter shaft but it was worth it. I have picked up about 15 carry yards. I would also go back to the fitter and check your numbers with the new club.

Im no Pro and im assuming that you are right handed, but the shaft could be the reason you are snaping it dead left, it all depends on you club head spead, since you just got fitted for a lighter and a regular flexed shaft it could be that you are firing you hands to early because you had to because your last shaft was too heavy and now you either need to delay your hands or even slow your swing down if that doesnt help, i would look into a new shaft, best of luck i hope all that makes since.

  8. Thanks for all the feedback everyone. I went to the range before playing on Sunday and got the wrench out and started hitting and clicking. I landed on B4 and what a huge difference, got my old cut back and gained 20 yds of carry on top of it. I must say TITLEIST has hit a home run with this Driver. Buddy in my group said "damn man that's like cheating carrying that thing". I missed 2 fairways all day. I've been hitting Titleist woods forever and won't be making and changes soon !! Great Job TITLEIST. !!

Glad to hear that you figured out your Sure-Fit setting! Seems like you had some good results. I, too, have been hitting Titleist products for years and I'd never, ever, even think about switching to another company. I have some of the top reps from other companies always offering me drivers, irons, putters, gloves, bags...everything, and I politely decline their offer(s).
