Well, I am off Saturday to Cool Clubs in Chicago for my fitting!    Cant wait!!  I am a little skeptical about hitting off a mat, inside, and haven't swung a club in a few weeks.   But We'll see how it goes!    Anyone ever been?   Suggestions?  Comments??

I have only been to Cool Clubs in TX. Great Experience! The staff was very knowledgeable and friendly. I only got fitted for a driver that day, but definitely going back this year to get fitted for a new set of irons. They are using the latest and greatest technology in order to get you fitted. I think you will really enjoy the experience. My 913D2 is my favorite club now!!!

Indoors, mats, simulators….not real golf.  The ball  flies very differently off of mats than it does REAl grass.  Don't all you guys get fooled by techie and new computer programs…..  they look cool and somebody can make a fun presentation…. but none of that is a substitute for REAL golf outdoors.  How your clubs perform off a mat is not the same as they will on the course.

I have been fitting for over 25 years and conducted 10,000 fittings with players  -- trust me on this. Why do you think they're called simulators.

Thanks for the input Steve.  Like I said I am a little skeptical hitting off a mat, and  I hate brushing off good advice, especially from someone that really knows what they are doing, but I think I am going to go through with the fitting.   Come spring I will def have a local pro go through everything with me and see if there is anything that I can change that will be better though.  Thanks again for the input!!
