Hi everyone; I'm new to the Titleist family, finally got tired of the annual TM gimmicks..I'm the proud owner of the 913 4h, 913fd18 and 913 D2 9.5 all with Bassara 50 R shafts. Here's my question. I'm thinking of tipping my driver shaft to lower the launch angle and spin, also my SS is around 91which puts me in limbo between S-R. I don't know how much to tip ( 1/2. 3/4 or 1" ) if at all….Any opinions ? My hdc is 10 and I'm 60 ish….Thanks, Joe

Hi Joe,  Welcome to the Team!  The Bassara W shaft is not tipped at all unless requested, so assuming you have a standard W shaft, you could tip it 1" and that would be about 1/3-1/2 firmer flex.

Thanks Cath for the quick response. I'll let you know how it turns out by this time next week. This just might be the ticket for guys who want to tweak their drivers and not have to fork over 300+ bucks for a new shaft ….Joe in Ct.
