They will come 2* upright from standard.  Just specify that lie angle and that's how they will be built.

If you were fitted using AP1 then you should have no problems. He should have bent the test club 2* upright and then you hit them.

I just checked, the lie angles are the same as AP2, and the cb's. I believe you may be confusing lie angle for loft, the loft of AP1 is a degree stronger than AP2.

The so-called "standard" lie angles are 9 iron at 64* with a spacing of 1 deg between clubs. This puts a 5 iron at 60* and that is way too flat for most people. Lynx Black Cat irons were set this way, so I had to have the 5 iron bent 2*, the 6 iron 1.5, the 7 iron 1.0 and the 8 iron .5 (this was my experimental set). Ping spaces them 3/4* with the 9 iron at 64 deg and the 4 iron at 60.25. Ping Blue Dot is close to Titleist standard lies (the 6 iron is 62.25 and the PW is 64.75). Titleist and TM 5 iron is 62.5 and 9 iron is 64 with .5* spacing. The 3-5 irons are spaced 1* apart.

I'm sorry, 6i and shorter have a loft 2* stronger than most, 5i and longer is 1* stronger.
