New AP2

I purchased ap2's 4 years ago and I love them. I was custom fitted at Cave's Valley learning center with Nippon 105t 1 degree flat and stiff shaft. I want to order the new 712's and want to explore whether I should stay with Nippon 105T or move to a Nippon Pro 970 or Dynalite SL s300 shaft. Also what would a .25 inch shorter shaft do for me ?

Hi Lou! I hope you would consider being fit again at Cave's Valley. They are one of the top fitting centers in the world! The new 712 AP2s are very different from your version. I have found they spin slightly less than earlier models and that could have an impact on shaft selection. The Nippons are fine shafts and if you prefer the feel and performance, I recommend staying within that brand. RC

Ryan.....Thanks so much for your feedback and yes Caves is Unbelievable ! I did in fact order the ap2's with the 105t shaft and think they will work fine.
