My launch monitor shows a 9 degree launch and 2800+ spin rate. My club speed is 108-110 mph. I am looking to replace with a shaft the provides a higher launch and a lower spin rate. Ball speed is more important factor than club head speed. Assuming you hit it solid, you should be in the high 150s to low 160s mph. I wouldn&#39;t change shafts. I&#39;d experiment with the Pro V1 X. The X launches a smidge higher with a smidge less spin. If it feels right around the greens... you are good to go. Another option to try is to go down one setting in loft and one flatter setting in lie from your current setting. For example, if A-1, go to C-1.
