Tried the other stock shafts but launch and spin were too high, except with the Project X but didnt like the feel on that...Only played 1 round but loved the driver and shaft. Distance was great at around 280 avg, but dispersion was excellent for me, only lost one ball which is good for me!

My SS average is around 107. I tried out RIP 60 stiff and gave me lower launch and lower spin rate with 11 yard more carry distance and 18 yards more total distance. So, I think I'm going to change to RIP.

Re: Aldila RIP

I bought a my 910D2 RIP last week. I love it because of the launch angle. I tested the driver with the Ahina and found that I was still hitting the ball too high and losing distance and everything else that was shown on the launch monitor. The RIP flattened out my launch angle and gave me more distance but its still a good feel and no problems whatsoever. I think you will like it.

Re: Aldila RIP

I have it, love it, wish I had me in my 3W

Re: Aldila RIP

I am currently using the RIP and love it.
