Early next year I will be turning 40 and to celebrate this milestone birthday I'm looking to visit the Titleist facilty in Carlsbad, CA for a fitting. Where can I find pricing for something like this?
Thank you very much. I have actually played the Glen Club the week before a Nationwide Tour event to celebrate my birthday a few years ago in May and that was a wonderful experience. I will see you soon

Re: Fitting for a Lefty

Garrett,

If you decide not to make the trip out west, I am up in Chicago. I have all the left handed heads available and about 4 guys from St. Louis have come up already this year.

I used, quite by accident, an Advance Fitting Center, and they had more shaft options in stock than a big box cart/bag next to all the other vendors equipment. The AFC had the 2012 stock shafts in December and the big box did not have them yet at the end of February. At the time of a driver fitting they didn't have the 12 degree, yet, but later for 912 AP1/AP2 and 910F/H they had all the heads. Only 2 makers come close to supplying full lines to left-handed golfers, whereas the more off the rack vendors only ever have 2 driver/fairway/hybrid lofts and not all iron sets come left-handed. I never thought I'd even look at Titleist until I found out how limited my options were off the rack elsewhere. The quality was an after thought to getting what will work for me.

Tom Wishon is a big advocate of custom fitting, but only offers a very limited number of custom heads for lefties. ...Thank you Titleist.
