Just wondered if one of the staff here could help me out. I am just about to pull the trigger on a set of SM4 wedges, and need a bit of help with regards to shafts. I currently play KBS Tour, Stiff flex in my AP2's and really like them, so I will probably put the KBS Tour shaft in a stiff flex in my 52 degree as that wedge is often used for relatively full shots anyhow. As for my new 58 degree and 62 degree. I am possibly intending to go a little softer flex in these wedges, so wondered if I should go for the KBS tour Stiff but soft stepped? or go with the KBS Hi Rev in a stiff, because I have heard that these Hi Rev shafts play a little softer anyhow, due to the slightly longer tip section, and more active tip than in the KBS Tours?
any help would be gratefully received.

I am a believer in staying consistent with the shafts you have in your irons. I would only consider the Hi Rev if you were looking for more spin in those higher lofted wedges. It does have a more responsive tip, but is slightly heavier. You could consider the KBS Tour R+ in the wedges, which will offer a softer flex and lighter weight. Hope this helps!
