I am wondering if the KBS Tour 90 shaft is an approved custom shaft option for the 712 AP2?

Paul, 

That shaft is not approved for our irons.  We do offer many light weight Nippon shafts that are under 100g as a good alternative.

I got the Nippon 850 lightweight shafts in my AP1 set.  They are outstanding...long, accurate & consistent

Thanks Cameron!  I have the old NS Pro 100 in my original AP2's. Love the weight in those.  I'll look at the other Nippons too.
