My limited understanding of club making, that when you makes the lofts stronger, it increases offset somewhat. How much and if it is negligible is my question. I am thinking about (Ive sold my MP63’s, yes changing from mizzy’ to Titleist is noted by most as sacrilegious) but love those titleist MB712’s. My only concern is about about the progressive offset.
4i and 5i’s the lofts are the same as my miz’s
7i through PW – the lofts are a degree weaker and I want to bend to match my old set, however I am worried the offset which I have read can be incr by +.015 will have a playability effect OR NOT????
Example
Bending the 6i too 30* from stock 31* could incr the offset from .110 to .125" which then would have more offset than the 4i @ .120. Is that an issue, or does 1 degree not effect offset by a noticeable amount
Is this an issue bending the clubs. I would imagine titleist if a customer is ordering irons stronger lofts are bending the clubs also vs a different heads for different offsets.
thanks - FYI your customer svc is the best out of the OEM's
