Shaft flex recommendation for 913F

    I was hitting the 15* 913F yesterday and my carry was 240 yards, 260 total, about 10 yard dispersion with a light fade to center. My club head speed for the 3 wood was 106 mph. I was using the Diamana D+ White 82 stiff flex. Does this sound like the right flex for me, or should I be looking at X-stiff? It feels good, and I like what I saw, but I don't have access to a X-stiff shaft to compare.

     

    My drives average 285 carry.

    I also was fit for a new 913 3 wood yesterday and my club head speed was 107. The pro encouraged me to get the same shaft as my driver which is the Project X 7C3. He said that with around a 107 club head speed that a stiff shaft should be sufficient. Hope that was helpful.

    Yes, it is. I don't want to feel like I am leaving something in the bag, so this is helpful since we have similar numbers.

    More important to know how u swing it fast than how fast u swing. Get fitted outdoors by a good fitter.
