same thing for me . I even ordered them 1 degree strong. Now I'm at least one club short. The only thing I have never used before is the new decade multi- compound grip that I had them put on. I think I'm gunna try a lightweight grip.

I did request D5 when I ordered, my previous set was at D7

i was thinking of having them bend them 2 degrees strong, that might help the ball flight for Florida golf, always windy.

Again thank you for your time, I'll have the clubs tuned to what i need soon.

Please note that for all players that are particular about their swingweight, we ask that you have the pro shop specify the swingweight on your order when placing. If there is no swingweight designation requested, they will build within tolerance.

Robert - On your order, there was not a swingweight designation and D4 would have been the lightest swingweight for that build at 1/2" over and the 3/64 over on a Patriot grip.

I will have them checked, when I did speak to the club builder at Edwin Watts, where I had ordered the club, he did swing weight at 3.5 and thought the heads were light

I love the accuracy of these clubs, I hit some at The PGA demo day and decided they are for me.

I would hate to lead tape them, the look of AP2's are great,.

I considered that and decided to reserve judgement until I played in reasonable Spring like temperatures. I played last weekend with it in the mid 70's and I didn't notice any change.

Is the only way to address the weight of the clubs at this point with led tape? I hate to buy brand new clubs and then have to alter them to make them playable.

I had the same problem, I have my own golf shop and when I ordered my AP2's last year they came back too light...AP2 with DGX100 1/2" longer with 4 wraps on GP TV .580 grips.... requested D5 swingweight came back D3. I just added some High Density lead tape and voila! D5 is there....the lead tape make the irons look ugly but I did not realize I could send them back ...

Hi Robert,

We do have different head weights within a certain range, but with your set up would have used standard heads. I am showing that the nominal swingweight might have been D4, but D5 could have easily been reached. Please contact your pro shop where you purchased these and ask them to set up a Warranty inspection for you.

I have been wondering about distance as well. I have a fast swing speed and when hitting on a simulator I was consistenly hitting the 6 iron 200-205. That made the decision for me, since receiving the clubs I have played 3 times and have noticed I am about 1.5 clubs shorter than I was with my 10 year old cleve TA7s. I am pretty disappointed to this point and don't know what could cause that kind of drastic change off a simulator. I was hitting soft 9-PW from 150 and now am having to get on an 8 iron.
