Wedge fitting question

i know that there are few other factors in wedge fitting such as bounce but in terms of the length of the shaft and lie angle, should they be same with your other irons?

For my wedges, the length and lie angle are in line with the other irons in my bag but the shafts are different.  I play an X100 in my irons but play an S200 in my wedges.  I relaize that this seems like a big difference, but since the majority of the wedge shots are "feel" shots and require variable speed with your swing, I go with a shaft that is not as stiff as my normal iron setup.  I think I have better control of the ball and the spin with this setup.

You can go to a Titleist fitter to do a wedge fitting and see what is best for your swing and setup.  Everybody is different and a fitter can get your setup appropriate for your game.

Through fitting I've found that my the lie angle in my wedges is actually a degree flatter than in my irons.  My shaft lengths are standard in both, but i play my irons with a stiffer shaft.

They should follow with the lengths and lies of the other irons.  If the 9 iron is 36" with 64* lie angle, the lob wedges should be 35" with 65* lie angle.   Sand and gap wedges should be 64.5*.
