I currently game a 913Hd from both off the tee and deck and it is a solid beautiful club to hit. Not sure what your swing is like but this carries a good 225-235 for me off the tee and 210-220 off the deck. I used to game a 909H and that too was a solid club but the 913Hd seems a lot more reliable to me. The center of gravity is towards the face and for some reason I prefer this feeling for the hybrid club. You really should get yourself down to the local store for a swing and then get yourself fitted at a Titleist Advanced or Regional fitter. Absolutely no cons with this club from my opinion.

Why not try the 19 and 21 fairways alongside the 19 and 21 hybrids to see what you fare better with or like better?  Don't get locked into the hybrid hype ("greatest thing since sliced bread and the 'be-all, end-all' solution to one's golf game").  The fitter would also help you in determining whether a fairway wood or hybrid fits your needs. If the World #1 can hit a 19 fairway.... Even The World's Greatest Bunker Player stated he would have won one more Masters if he carried a 9 wood.  If PGA pros can hit 5 and 7 woods and some LPGA pros carry 9 and 11 woods (and most of the ladies outdrive at least 75% of the male population), why not give a fairway wood a comparision?

I'm one of those who has fared better with a fairway wood between 18-23* vs the equivalent loft hybrid since 2006.  Better distance.  More consistency.  

Don't get me wrong..... I fare very well on hybrids 26-34* (that has been my 5-7 iron setup since 2009 and I have been using a 5-6 hybrid combo since 2006); I like these hybrid lofts because they stick the greens well (with no lack of birdies thereof) and swinging is pretty much effortless.

thanks for the advice.. i have a little trouble getting a good solid hit on the 3 wood out of the fairway.. that's why i wanted to go to a hybrid because they say that its a better rescue club.. i am just not sure what degree to get!! i basically want to get a club that is hitting about 220-240.. 

I hit the 913Hd 18 degree at those distances. Keep in mind, this  'Hd' version is lower spin which means it will roll out a little further. The carry would not be a problem but stopping on the green may be an issue. Can you demo one at the range? That will narrow it down for you before getting fitted. Shaft is also an important contributor to the performance.

Don is spot on with his comment regarding shafts.  As I said in my previous post, I was about to give up on hybrids.  But I decided to try a higher launching shaft for the 910H 19*, and it was a game changer for me.  I haven't pursued changing shafts on the 910F or my 910H 21*, but I have considered it.

For a lot of us, a 15* fairway wood is very difficult to hit off the deck unless it is on a plush lie.  I can actually hit an 18* fairway wood about the same distance as a 15*.   Between 2007-2010 I played with 975F 16.5 and 20.5 fairways. The only 15 fairway I could really hit was a 980F.  In 2011 I got a TM Burner 21* 7 wood and could hit it just as far as the 980F 15*.   I also found there is very little difference between an 18 and a 21F (about 5-7 yards).   I don't carry a 3 wood since my driver is 13*

I've been using a 910F 19* since last May. I actually get my best distance on the A3 setting (I also have the club shortened to 41" with an ultralight grip to maintain swingweight).    I am capable of 200+ yards with it.    It has been pretty deadly on the 170-190 yard par 3s (I do a choke down shot for 170-175; I basically threw in the towel on trying to use a 21* hybrid).

The 19F is perfect for the golf courses in San Diego since the fairways are pretty closely cropped.

For you, I'd go with the 19*.

You're distances are about 20 yards longer than mine, and my bag goes from driver, 910F 15*, 910H 19* &  21* 910H (set to 22.5*) and then 5 iron.  I CAN NOT express how much I rely on the 19* hybrid.  The 19* 910H is my go to club for those narrow par 4's, or even the occasional 220 yd shot into a par 5 where there may be trouble if I'm a little errant.   While I hit the 3W well off the tee, off the deck it's less consistent.  If I felt more confident about my swing speed, I'd even consider going to the 17* hybrid, but I don't think that would perform well for me.

I had tried the 910F 17*, but I found that it really wasn't much longer for me than the 19* hybrid.  While it wasn't an instant success (I had contemplated dumping the hybrids and going back to FW), I'm glad that I kept working on my swing with the 910H.  They really are a great club.  My bag is in good shape right now, but I'd love to see how the 913's perform.
