I recently purchased a 913D2 and a 913 Fd. I like them and am hitting them well but they seem quite a but lighter than my previous clubs. I noticed that you sell a weight kit. What would adding a heaver weight do to the ball flight and club performance? Are the kits readily available or do I have to go to a certified fitter? I would like a little heftier feel and a little more head weight. Are individual weights available or do I need to buy the whole kit? Thanks for your assistance

  2. That is an interesting question, I would not think a significant difference since it is in the center of the sole of the club...

Hi Alan,  The heavier weight will not affect ball flight, just swingweight. and the weights can be purchased individually.  The pro may not have them in stock, but they can be ordered and will ship in 2-3 days.  The reason they don't carry the weights is that all metalwoods can be ordered to a specific swingweight (within tolerance) at no upcharge and it takes about 3 days for custom orders) Depending on what shaft you have in your driver, the swingweight will range from D1-D5 (most of the stock shaft heads/shafts are D3-D4).  You can go to your local fitter and have them add the 11 or the 14 gram weight and see what works best before you order the weights.
