    Hello my name is Robert

I am in process of buying a new set of Titleist irons Was going to buy the AP1 .But the salesrep from Golftown said I cannot bend them after I purchase them in case my swing changes over time .So I am going with the AP2 instead  The rep said to go with stiff shaft .But found the standard shaft heavey so I am going with XP95 stiff as it a lighter shaft. Is this a good combo for me as I am 63 and a 12 hcp.also bending head 1 deg.upright .

    Thank you Robert

Get a second opinion - try to find a place that specializes in Titleist..  An advance fitting center is serious about knowing Titleist equipment. If you live someplace that still has outdoor fitting ranges open, try for that.  A good fitter will work with you on loft/lie/swing weight as part of maximizing distance and reducing dispersion.  The concierges can correct, but I'm pretty sure all Titleist irons can be bent up to +/- 2 degrees.  A full fitting will include all the options, including asking for a swing weight close to your current if you like those, and then Titleist will build your clubs.

Hi Robert,  We can bend the AP1 if your swing changes over time and your lie angle changes, so if you really want the AP1 with the XP95, you should get them.  Here is the number for our Canadian office - give them a call and they can talk to you about fitters in your area.  1-877-928.8898
