2 questions.   Do you recommend indoor fitting (being its 10º here), or wait until I can hit off grass to go?    Also, I am not able to get a hold of river side casino (closest fitting place to me), and I think they may be closed for the winter.  Where is the closest indoor fitting near north west IL?   Thanks!

    Curtis,

I'd highly recommend waiting until you can hit off of turf. The numbers would be more accurate and the fitter, as well as yourself, can see the ball flight with each head/shaft combo you try out. I'm not too familiar with NW IL, so, check this out: http://www.titleist.com/find-a-golf-shop/ . Regional/Advanced fitters are your best bet. Good luck. If you have any more questions, just ask.

Cherokee, in Madison, fits all winter from the heated driving shed into the snow.  Under Travel, the first picture in "Where in the World...." thread is my bag in the snow with the fitting studio in the background.   At least you can see the full ball flight and they are an Advance Fitting Center.
