    I wanted to share my thoughts after a fitting at my local club today. 

    I spent some time with the fitter wanting to get fit for new wedges and iron shafts. I purchased a set of 714AP2's back in November and was what I feel to be mis-fit by my club pro so I wanted to see if the control issues I was experiencing was because of too much spin with the irons I bought. Turns out I was correct and we need to re-shaft the irons into a lower spinning model. The fitter was very courteous and spent a bunch of time to get the best results. 

    Towards the end we were talking about my other clubs and decided to take a look at my 913D2 driver. The fitter was surprised that I was hitting the D2 and wanted to try my shaft in the D3 with same loft and settings. She was definitely correct because after a few shots you could see the ball flight was the same launch and shape but was carrying at least another 20-30 yards longer than mine. I was very impressed. She thinks we might squeak out a few more yards with a shaft change so an request is being made to get a handful of shafts shipped to my club that will fit my swing dynamics.

    I would like to echo Addam's comments.  I attended a demo day in Kingsport, TN this past weekend.  To be perfectly honest, I had png in mind when I planned to attend, but once I arrived it was clear that the person at their tent was either uninterested, inept, or both.  Previously, I had played a full bag of Titleist and decided to go over to the tent.  The gentlemen was very attentive (even though he was pretty busy!) and helped to dial me into a 913 D2 driver, which I hit probably better than II have ever hit a driver.  He also noticed a flaw in my swing and offered a suggestion that straightened me out.  

    Thanks to demo day, I have a new driver on the horizon and probably more changes to come.
