SM5 Club Fitting

    I went for a club fitting for the Vokey SM5 wedges at the Stow Acres CC in the metro Boston area with JordonTabereaux from the Titleist staff.  Jason was professional and took his time with each of the different lies that I tried.  We also hit from sand traps as well.  We also worked on the correct gap for each different wedge and distance control.  Turns out I needed different grinds for each wedge.  Withour the fitting I would never have known that.  We also changed the shaft in my 913 driver for better spin rate and ball flight.  So I now own the SM5 52, 56, and 60 wedges.  Great time and education from Justin.  I have played 3 rounds since and love the wedges.

    If in the metro Boston area and need a good club fitting I would call Jordan Tabereaux from Titleist at Stow Acres.  Thanks Jordon And Titleist!

    Agree with Tom.  Having a pro shop with a dedicated on-site Titleist/Acushnet presence makes this a top-notch place. Jordan is a great guy. Go see him for any of your Titleist needs. You won't be disappointed.

    I went to the SM5 fitting at Stow Acres as well. Jordan was thorough and very helpful. I learned a lot - particularly that bounce is my friend. I now have a 58K and a 54F bent to 53 to go with my 48 degree wedge. Thanks Jordan.

    I was hoping to find a fitting/demo day near me this spring, but unfortunately none seemed to be scheduled.  I'm guess I'm going to need to find a good fitter with a variety of wedges.  I have no clue what grind to get, so hopefully I can find a place to try multiple grinds side-by-side.
