    Hello Team Titleist,

My putting and short game used to be really good.  I'm not exactly sure what happened but now my long game improved greatly and I am struggling with my putting.  I've always used a short putter with a standard grip.  My tendencies are:  take the putter back closed and pull it (I never push it, just like my shots, I play a pull fade), as well as my left arm moves backwards on my follow through like I am cutting across the ball.  My coaches thought that my left arm was the cause of pulling the putts so I switched to putting cross-handed in order to get my left arm more in front of my body.

I have never had a putting fitting.  I bought the putter I currently use (black series Ody) from a friend who is much shorter than I am (33 inch putter!).  I had it extended to 34 inches a long time ago but I may need to have it extended again since I am putting cross-handed now.  I would like to get a Scotty Cameron but I would like to have an expert putter fitting instead of buying a random Scotty Cameron off of a rack.  I have never been to Oceanside, CA but it sounds like a great experience.  Too bad they don't do putter fittings there.  Does anyone know of a good putter fitter?  I live in Roswell, GA.

    Thanks,

    Austin

well if you are looking for a scotty, i am pretty sure that scotty cameron himself just opened a public putter studio in encinitas calif. where you can get a fitting. I do not know much about it though

  3. They do offer putting fittings...sign up online at the scottycameron.com site and they will email you informaton.  FWIW
