  1. I own a 913H 19* with the Diamana 72 Regular. I hit this fine with a fairly low trajectory. I want to add the 913H 21*. While the Diamana 72 Regular might be a good shaft, will the Bassara 60 Regular give me more height and relatively faster swing speed?

    Hi John,

The Titleist Bassara does have a lower kick point than either Diamana hybrid shaft. Because of this, it is designed to launch higher with a little more spin. As for increased swing speed, that is all player dependent.

    Hope this helps.

The change in loft alone may provide enough launch angle. Work with a fitter. Another option is getting the 21 with the Bassara in the 19 length, swapping shafts, and getting the S+ cut down for the 21. Again, all dependent on using a monitor and watching the flight.

    John,

I can only relate my experience with the 910H 19* and 21*.  I had both with the Made For Titleist Diamana kai'li stiff shafts.  Hit them okay, but I always wanted a higher ball flight.  I was able to pick up the MFT Diamana 'ilima for the 19*, which has a lower kick point than the kai'li.  It certainly helped me achieve more hight, though I can still hit that club low when necessary.  At the end of the day, I kept the 19* and the 21* resides in my garage, replaced with a 24* 913H.

As much as I'd love to have a 913H, or even the 915H in 19*, I can't imagine having any more confidence than I do in that 910H 19* ilima stiff combo.  Just a great club for my swing.

    Good luck with your quest.

I have both Shafts on my 913's and I'll have to say I really like the Basarra's both on my 913 Driver  and 913 Hybrid. Good flight trajectory with both.

The Diamana on the Fairway wood does feel a little heavier and I'm not sure I feel the increase in torque but I don't shoot low handicap either.

As far as looks,  No comparison The Bassara looks the best !
