  1. Went thru a 915 fitting and was told that with the new 915 it is better to tee the ball lower than with the past 910/913 drivers due to the way the recoil effect works. Better to hit on the lower part of club head as opposed to previously hitting high on head? Is this because the 915 launches higher than previous models? Also went from 10.5 to 9.5, same reason? Also, getting it with the Rogue black, what is the difference between black and silver Rogue shafts? M.

    Hi Mike,

Not sure if there was a little miscommunication there, but what the Active Recoil Channel does is allow both the crown and sole to flex more so the ball deforms less.  This helps you to get consistent lower spin and higher speeds across the entire face.  Prior generations did not allow the rigid sole to flex, so you did not get as high a speed when you hit it low on the face or off center.  With the ARC, you can hit it lower on the face and get more speed than prior generations.  It is always going to be best to hit the center of the clubhead for maximum speed.

The Rogue Black is more of a mid flighting shaft and the Silver is a low-mid launching shaft.

Curious as to what you are thinking of switching from to the 915?  I had amazing results and wanted to know what your achievements were with the fitting. The 915 is a line of metal woods is technology incorporated in a harmonic symphony.
