    I was recently fitted by Golfsmith for the 714cb irons, to my surprise the best shaft for my swing was the Pxi 6.0 shaft. I have always played DG/KBS shafts. I typically fit best into 70+ gram driver shafts however I'm getting older and looking to go lighter into 60g driver / 70g fairway. What wood shafts would match up well with the Pxi 6.0 shaft?

    Would it be possible to return to Golfsmith and have your previous Titleist fitter fit you for the 915 you're looking for? What do you consider "matching up well"? What do you want out of your 915? D3, D2, F, Fd, H, Hd?

    Looking to go lighter in my wood shafts 60g - have always been fitted for 70g shafts in driver. Something with Mid traj. low spin. Went to golfsmith and they didn't have all the shafts. Had rogue silver 60 & black 70 with S+ 60 and that was all they had. As far as iron performance I noticed an increase in carry distance in the irons as well as much smoother bend profile, didn't have to work hard to load it and it gave me good control. I'm currently looking at putting a Diamana Kai'li 60 stiff tipped 1" into my 913D3 driver to see how it performs.

    I know a few people who's tipped their Kai'li and LOVE the way it plays. You could always get a hold of your Titleist rep to see if they can get you one already tipped and ready to go, from Titleist. If you, or if you have anyone, do any work to the club like that, it'll void the warranty.

    I think this has been mentioned but there is no real cross matching of shafts from irons to woods unfortunately.  I was at Oceanside last week (Titleist Performance Institute) and once again I was surprised on which shafts we decided on based upon feel, trackman data and performance.  I use DGTI X100 in irons, DGTI S400 in wedges, Phenom TX 100 in Hybrids and Alida Tour Green X 75 in Woods the only thing consistent is a stiffer shaft...do not guess, consider going to be fit so you will be happy with your investment!

    Unfortunately there are no fully stocked Titleist fitting carts in my area. The golf stores typically only carry stock options. As far as matching up, I was thinking since the Pxi 6.0 is a mid/low shaft I would try to find a mid/low shaft for woods. The Kai'li 60 tipped I thought would match the profile I was looking to try. Also, I don't understand the void of warranty comment if I purchased a shaft with adapter to screw into the head, why the warranty on the head be voided?

    I'm sure one of the very helpful Titleist Concierges will chime in on this, but I've seen them say so many times to have your Titleist fitter call Titleist to have the shafts/setups you want to try sent to them so you can try them (assuming you want to try something that's available).

    Don't buy a driver without knowing it's right. You'll regret it, more than likely!

    Scioto CC is in Columbus and they are an Advanced fitter for us.  You can talk to Bill Stines (head pro) or Don Sargent and if you make an appointment to be fit, they can certainly help dial you in.  Their number is:  614.486.1039.  Even thought they are a private course, I spoke to them this morning and they do fittings for non members. And yes, BA is right.  Ask them for the shafts that you want to try and if they don't have them and we do have them here, we will ship it to them for your scheduled fitting.

    Thanks Cathy, I live 20 minutes from Scioto, it is a very exclusive historic club in the Columbus area. I would have never thought they would even consider doing fittings for non-members!
