I did the fitting last March and it was a great experience.  The only suggestion I would make is to write down or take picture using your phone off their computer of the data such as spin rate, swing speed, etc, because they don't give you a printout of any data, they only email you your specs for which clubs to get.

This my second trip to Oceanside. In 2011, I took my high school daughter. She got fit for a set of AP1s and Dad got fit for a 910 D2. A great way to spend some quality golf time with your child. This time I'm going to go through a full bag fitting. We'll have to see if I can convince my spouse I need to purchase the full set. I'll keep my fingers crossed.

Have fun!  I'm not sure what is cooler, the fact you are including this on your vacation or that your last trip was a father/daughter fitting.  I have two young kids and I think it would be awesome to do that with them some day.

I will be on vacation until Jan13th if you guys wanna play a round while your here let me know 

I will let you know. We're going to be playing golf, but I'm not sure of our final schedule yet (other than the trip to Oceanside -- first things first).  I'm also not sure how many players will have. My daughter and me for sure, but her college boyfriend is from Orange County (and a D3 college golfer) so I anticipate he'll be joining us for some or all of it. I've also invited a friend down from San Francisco. We play in my member-guest each year and have taken "side trips" to Whistling Straits and Ireland the last three years.
