    hey guys,

During the off-season here in upstate NY i am going to try my best to find a used set of 714 AP2's within my budget and get fitted at a local golf shop.  I went and spoke with a gentleman at the local shop (Big Oak-in Rochester NY) that i plan to get fitted at and he said that it would be in my best interest to have Titleist alter the loft and lie.  Does anyone know what it would cost to send to titleist to have this done?  Obviously i would have to take care of shipping costs.

    Thanks,

    Billy T

  2. If they're an authorized Titleist shop, then they should be able to contact Titleist for you to setup the RTV/WO. If they're not, then you'll need to take them into an authorized Titleist shop to have them do that for you.

I own my own Golf Club Repair Business. Adjusting forged clubs like that is easy if you have the right equipment. I use the latest Mitchell equipment. He should be able to do it or look at other places that might have the equipment. However, before you bend. Hit a Lie Board and ensure you need them bent. On the loft it is your preference. Just keep this in mind. Loft to Bounce is a one to one ratio. So if you bend a PW from stock 46 to 44 to make it stronger then your Bounce on that PW just dropped two degrees as well. I bend clubs at like 3.00 per after lie board and analyzing swing and club specs.
