    Hello Titleist!

I want to order a custom set of the MB 714s.  Is there any way of telling me if a swing weight of D4 can be met with these specs below?  The last thing I would want is to order these irons and not have the swing weight spec met.  Thanks for any help.

    Project X 7.0 shafts

Golf Pride Tour Velvet BCT Grips

    PW- 48/ Loft, 63/Lie, -1/2" Length

    9- 44/ Loft, 63/Lie, -1/4" Length

    8- 40/ Loft, 62.5/Lie, -1/4" Length

    7- 36/ Loft, 62/Lie, -1/4" Length

    6- 32/ Loft, 61.5/Lie, -1/4" Length

    5- 28/ Loft, 60/Lie, -1/4" Length

    4- 24/ Loft, 59/Lie, -1/4" Length

    3- 20/ Loft, 58/Lie, -1/4" Length

Hello Carlos,  Yes, the 3-9 iron can be built to those specs at a D4 swingweight, but the PW cannot - it will be 1-2 swingweights heavier.  You will need to make sure that the pro that places your order specifies the swingweight as well as each lie, length and loft.

    Thank you for the response.

What if I only shortened the PW by 1/4"?  Would that still put the PW 1-2 swing weights over D4?

Hi Carlos, I took those lengths to mean overlength, not underlength, but, we can still build it at D4 as long as it is specified on the order.  As far as the PW, as I was thinking 1/2 over and not 1/2" under.  We can get to D4 at 1/4" under, but at 1/2" under, the swingweight would be too light, not too heavy.

Great!  Can you tell me how the irons are swing weighted?  Is it tungsten weights? or powder?

    Hi Cathi!

So I placed my custom order last week for my irons and wedges.  This being my first custom set I want to make sure all the specs that I requested are met.  s there a phone number I can call or someone that I can email to check on everything?

Hi Carlos,  We can contact your pro and verify the specs with him/her.  Just IM us and let us know where you placed the order.
